Alocasia infernalis, also known as “Black Magic,” is an intriguing and popular plant. It has dark, purplish-black leaves that turn a deep red when exposed to sunlight. Due to its medium size, it reaches a width of only 36 inches and is sometimes used as a house plant. The Black Magic plant prefers indirect sunlight and a high humidity range of 60-75 percent.
